I have received a lot of feedback on my first draft. I have been told that I need to make the storybook more prominant and make the idea of the book more apparent. I will search for more transitions in order to create a more magical effect.
Having watched the video, I can see that I want to make and create more of a cathartic sense towards the end of the video. Creating the fact that they are looking back on who they once were.
I also need to film a certain part in the middle of the video, where there is a black space. I will fill this with the girls receiving an invitation for the summer ball.
For the whole video, I want to create the sense that I am guiding the viewer through a story. I want to create a universe, where the story takes place. I have taken inspiration from Taylor Swifts video, where there is a part before the video begins, a monologue or a few shots. I want to create the idea of 'black magic' and bring the audience into the story before the music begins.
